listen | connect | grow
Taking the first step to find a therapist for yourself or your child can feel vulnerable, so I admire your courage in being here. I believe every person has the capacity to grow, gain insight, and develop new ways of thinking, feeling, and navigating life’s challenges. My approach is centered on honoring each person’s unique story and meeting every client where they are—with warmth, acceptance, and a genuine commitment to their well-being.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist with 20 years of experience working with a wide range of clients. I love the variety my work brings, supporting children as young as three, teens, college-aged women, and adult women. Whether I’m using play therapy with a child, helping a teen build confidence, or supporting a woman juggling the demands of life, my goal is to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
As a mom of four with children ranging from high school to young adulthood, I understand both the joys and challenges of parenting. I’ve been described as a “child whisperer” on more than one occasion and find deep fulfillment in working with kids. I also love working with teen girls—celebrating their uniqueness and helping them navigate those tricky adolescent years. And for women trying to balance it all, I offer a space to pause, reflect, and prioritize themselves.
I have personally experienced the power of therapy—both in my own self-care journey and as a concerned mom seeking help for my child. These transformative experiences have shaped me profoundly and inspired my deep passion for supporting others in a similar way.
The relationship between therapist and client is one of the strongest predictors of success in therapy. That is why I am committed to building a trustworthy, supportive, and confidential space, while using research-based, effective approaches tailored to your needs. Whether you’re seeking support for your child, your teen, or yourself, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey of growth, healing, and change.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions to see if I might be the right fit for you or your family.
